Gift Card Terms
The terms you agree to when you buy a TIBC gift card. Short, and worth the two minutes — particularly the bit about activating it.

1. Who you are buying from
Gift cards are sold by TIBC Group Pte Ltd, the holding company of The Ice Bath Club’s Singapore clubs. Your card is not tied to any one club when you buy it.
2. Where your gift card can be used
A gift card can be redeemed at any of our four Singapore clubs — River Valley, East Coast, Duxton or Alexandra — chosen when it is used rather than when it is bought.
Gift cards are sold and redeemable in Singapore only, and physical cards are delivered to Singapore addresses only. They cannot be used at our clubs outside Singapore.
3. Activating your card
Gift cards must be activated within 6 months of purchase. The validity period begins on first use, or automatically 6 months after purchase, whichever is earlier.
Activating automatically does not take any credits away. It means the validity period below has started running, whether or not you have been in yet.
4. How long your credits last
Once activated, how long you have depends on the size of the pack. A custom number of sessions takes the validity period of the pack its rate belongs to.

5. When credits expire
Any credits still unused when the validity period ends will lapse. They cannot be reinstated, extended, or exchanged for cash.
If you are close to the end and something has got in the way, talk to us before it lapses rather than after.
6. Agreeing to these terms
You accept these terms at checkout, before payment is taken. If you are buying the card as a gift, you accept them on behalf of whoever receives it, and they are bound by them when the card is used.
7. Giving it to someone else
Gift cards are transferable — that is rather the point. Whoever holds the card can use it, so treat it like cash. We cannot replace a card that is lost or stolen, and we cannot tell you whether somebody else has already used it.
8. Refunds
A gift card can be cancelled for a full refund within 7 days of purchase, as long as no credits have been used and any physical card is returned unused. After that, gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
9. No cash value
A gift card buys entry to a club. It cannot be exchanged for cash, spent on anything other than the sessions it carries, or put towards a membership unless we agree otherwise in writing.
10. Prices and taxes
What you pay is the price at the time of purchase, and it includes GST. If our prices or tax rates change afterwards, the number of sessions on your card does not — you keep what you bought.
11. If a club closes or changes
If the club you had in mind closes or changes its hours, your card stays valid at any of our other Singapore clubs for the rest of its validity period.
12. Using the club
Using a gift card is subject to our normal club terms, including the health and safety conditions everyone agrees to on their first visit. A gift card does not guarantee availability at any particular time.
